Isle of Palms County Park offers excellent beach access and fun, gentle ocean waves, making it a highly popular destination for families with children. A large playground provides ample room for off-beach fun, and seasonally available lifeguards help make the ocean a safer swimming area for youngsters. The park, located in Isle of the Palms, is about 13 miles by car east of Charleston, and there are many nearby restaurants available for hungry visitors.
